About the role

Develop and support C#/.NET backend services, enterprise platforms, and front-office trading tools, working directly with traders, business users, and quantitative teams. Design system architecture and data models, integrate quantitative models, and support testing, deployment, and production issues across cloud and distributed systems. Requires 10+ years of software development experience, strong C#/.NET skills, and knowledge of power, gas, or commodities trading, ideally in a financial institution or front-office environment. Candidates should have experience with APIs, backend services, cloud, containers, distributed architecture, databases, Git, and CI/CD, along with strong communication skills and an understanding of the energy trade lifecycle.
