Prin Quantitative Engineer

About the role

Lead quantitative engineering initiatives, develop and maintain analytical models, and perform research and analysis to support utility engineering studies, plans, designs, operations, and strategic projects. Explain model results to leaders, recommend improvements to performance and cost effectiveness, and provide technical guidance, training, and expert opinions as needed. Requires a graduate degree or graduate-level work in a quantitative discipline, at least eight years of professional engineering or quantitative analyst experience, and expertise in complex engineering analysis and applicable standards. Candidates must be able to translate business questions and analytical results into recommendations and develop models using programming skills such as MATLAB, Python, R, C++, SQL, or VBA.
